The event of the last few hours is an arrival and a statement. The two things do not carry the same status. The arrival is documented by two accounts; the partial truce is a unilateral statement, announced by one party at war and not verifiable until the three days have passed. We are running it because it is relevant, and we are writing it for what it is: an announcement, not an agreement.

The same discipline applies to the piece on Kharg. Iranian news agencies report a small tanker struck at anchor off the island, with versions diverging on distance, circumstances and type of projectile; the attribution to American forces comes from Iranian media, not from an official source, and institutional confirmation is lacking. We state this explicitly, because the perimeter of what is confirmed is narrower than the news itself.

On OpenAI the point is identical and worth repeating: GPT-6 Astra, the 100,000 graphics processors, the billion in advertising revenue are figures from the company. There are two accounts, but a single primary source — the press release. The piece states this at the opening rather than at the bottom.
