Spain's Ministry of the Interior has extended by 15 days the checks on travelers arriving from Italy by air and sea, moving the deadline from September 7 to September 22, as Euronews reports on the Ministerio del Interior's communication. The checks had been introduced on August 8 under order INT/846/2026; on the first day, August 9, 199 people had been checked across 12 flights at six airports, according to a Reuters dispatch.
